November Notes: Gratitude, Giving, & a Whole Lot of Growth
Let’s Give Back!
November always reminds me how much I have to be thankful for - and this year, I wanted to do something that gives back to families in our community.
Starting NOW through Wednesday, November 26, Madi & Mane will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable items to donate to families in need through God’s Pantry Food Bank in Lexington.
As a thank-you, every client who donates will receive 10% off any service of their choice. It’s just a small way we can make a big difference - together.
You can drop off items during your appointment or leave them outside the suite door if I’m with a client or outside my suite hours (the front door to the building is unlocked until 8:00 PM).
What’s New at the Suite
It’s been such a fun (and busy!) season at Madi & Mane - and I’m so excited to finally share some of the things that have been happening behind the scenes.
Complimentary Drinks - Don’t forget, your favorite water, Diet Coke, and Ale-8 are always stocked and waiting.
Salon TV Installation - Coming this month! Perfect for cozy background vibes, inspo videos, or even maybe a little Christmas movie moment
New Packages + Memberships -
The Blowout Bundle includes three wash + style appointments with a scalp massage, hot steam towel with essential oils, and a hair treatment mask. Each package is good for 90 days.
The M+M Lifestyle Club includes three wash + styles plus a complimentary haircut and perks like:

It’s self-care made simple - and totally worth it.
Life Lately
If life were a rodeo, this season would definitely be the barrel run - fast, wild, and nonstop.
Avery just wrapped up her last fall soccer tournament (go team!) and jumps right into indoor season next week - because apparently we don’t believe in breaks around here.
We’re also gearing up for a team roping event at the Kentucky Horse Park, which we’re SO excited for. It’s Mason’s first time competing at Altech Arena, and I couldn’t be more proud - or more nervous, let’s be honest.
Between practices, soccer games, and prepping for the holidays, our days are packed - but my heart is full. The weather might be getting colder, but being surrounded by family always keeps things warm.
Current Obsessions…
In other news… one of my all-time favorite shows is coming to an end.
Stranger Things is finally wrapping up its last season, and I’m equal parts excited and sad. I’ve grown to love these characters (and their questionable haircuts), and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
New Services Coming Soon!
You all know I’m a brow girl through and through - but lately I’ve been obsessed with the idea of taking it a step further. So… I’ve decided to start learning brow lamination!
This will be a new service coming to Madi & Mane soon - and I can’t wait to offer it once I’m fully set up for it!
Oh, and speaking of color… Fantasy Color services are officially launching this month! If you’ve been thinking about something bold, bright, or totally out of the box - this is your sign to go for it.
Faith Corner
This month, I ordered “The Bible in 52 Weeks: A Yearlong Bible Study for Women” - a USA Today bestseller that breaks down Scripture into daily readings and weekly reflections. I’ll be linking it on Amazon for anyone who wants to join me!
One of my favorite tools for study time is still the YouVersion Bible App - it’s easy to use and packed with devotionals for every mood and moment.
Faith has been the foundation that keeps me grounded, especially in a season of chaos, and I’m really excited to dive deeper into this study.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Skin, Sweat, & Self-Care
If you know me, you know my routines are a work in progress - but lately I’ve been really trying to stay consistent with my evening, gym, and skin-care routines. Mason’s been the best workout partner (and personal trainer), and honestly, I need the push.
Now before any estheticians come for me… my skin-care routine is nothing fancy.
Here’s my lineup:
Cleanser: good ol’ antibacterial Dial bar soap (yes, really)
Moisturizer: whatever's nearby.
Toner: Witch hazel.
I know, I know - it’s basic. But hey, it works for me (mostly). The stress of adulting is starting to show, but we’re making progress!
Final Thoughts
November always brings a mix of chaos and gratitude - a reminder that even in the busiest season, there’s beauty in balance.
This month, I’m focusing on giving back, slowing down, and finding joy in the little things - from hot coffee and good hair days to quiet mornings with Avery before school.
Here’s to the start of the holiday season - full of giving, gratitude, and a little bit of glitter.
Until next time,
Madi
